The Annapurna region is the most popular trekking route in Nepal. There are three major classical trekking routes ,Jomsom-Muktinath, Annapurna sanctuary (Annapurna Base Camp), and the Annapurna circuit With the exception of the Annapurna circuit, all treks begin from Pokhara, Nepal's second largest city. The entire Annapurna Circuit trek starts from Beshishar, a six-hour drive from Kathmandu. Trekkers in this are learn about the way of life of many different Nepalese ethnic groups, see breathtaking views of snow covered mountains and flora and fauna. Throngla Pass is one of the most popular trekking points of classic Annapurna circuit trail.
