Day 01 |
Arrival in Kathmandu
Then you arrive in Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel. While in Kathmandu you will have time fascinating Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines reflecting ancient local traditions are highlighted on our guided tour. There's time to explore the city's many charms on your own too. In the evening delicious traditional Nepali well come dinner await for you. O/N in Kathmandu.</O:P |
Day 02 |
Kathmandu city Tour
After breakfast, we'll visit Swayambhunath temple, and said to be 2000 years stupa on a hillock offers breath-taking view of Kathmandu City. We will then processed to Visit Pasupatinath and Bouddhanath. After lunch we'll visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) - which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley - famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples, and you can catch the traditional artisans working with wood, stones and metals. Day 03 |
Kathmandu - Dhunche
You have breakfast being of the early morning before 7:00 AM. This morning you will be drive to Dhunche, departure early in the morning, approximately 7 hrs away by bus. You see along the drive good scenery. You will be arrive late afternoon at Dhunce. Dhunce is head quarter of Rasuwa district where you’ll start to Langtang Trekking. In the evening you will prepare yourself for your trek to Langtang. O/N stay in Dhunche.<O:P </O:P |
Day 04 |
Dhunche – Bharku – Syabrubesi
From Dhunche there is a decent to the Trisuli river which is reached within half an hour. From the river bed there is a steep climb to Dovan. Right from here a track to Gosainkunda leaves the main trail to Rasuwa Ghari and the Langtang valley. From Dovan there is a gentle climb to 6,400 feet and Bharku village is reached. From Bharku, traversing up and down after crossing a suspension bridge over the Langtang river, the village of Syabrubensi is reached. O/N in Syabrybesi.</O:P |
Day 05 |
Syabrubesi – Khanjung – Syarpagaon
After a trek of about one hour from Syabrubensi the small village of Wangal is reached. From here a trail branches off straight eastwards to Rasuwa Ghari. From Wangal there is a steep climb to Khanjung village. In the village there is a good camping site. From there, after 1/2 hr climb a small village is reached, known as Surka. The climb is steep for an hour through thick forest and from there the trail continues straight but not steep. From here, after a gentle descent for nearly 3 hrs, Syarpagoan (8200 ft. ) is reached . Day 06 |
Syarpagaon – Lamahotel – Langtang valley
From Syarpagoan, the trail then traverses up and down through the forest and Ghoratabela (9800 ft. ) is reached within 5 hrs. From there, again a short climb for 1/2 hrs will bring you to a pass to the right of where the Langtang valley begins. O/N in Langtang Valley.</O:P |
Day 07 |
Langtang Valley - Kyangjing Gompa
From the pass, after trekking for nearly 3 hrs, Langtang village (11200 ft.) is reached. From Langtang there is a gentle ascent for 4 hrs to Kyangjing Gompa. O/N in Kyangjing Gompa.</O:P |
Day 08 |
Kyangjing Gompa - Yalachesse factory - Ghora Tabala
After visiting Kyangjing Monastery, an excellent look-out can be reached by climbing the slopes immediately behind the Kyangjing Gompa. A visit to Yala Cheese factory (15,800 ft.) and the small lake at 16,000 ft. beyond Yala is worthwhile. Then back to Langtang via same route. O/N in Ghora Tabala.</O:P |
Day 09 |
Ghora Tabala - Syabrugaon
Breakfast served in the morning. After breakfast trek back through same way to Syabrugaon. O/N in Syabrugaon.</O:P |
Day 10 |
Syaburugaon - Dhunche
Today we climb through forests of Fir and Rhododendron. The only sign of human habitation are the occasional shepherds' huts at the water points. We camp near the deserted Sing Gompa.</O:P |
Day 11 |
Dhunche - Kathmandu
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. O/N in Kathmandu.</O:P |
