Annapurna region is an area in western Nepal . The region is generally taken to include areas around the Annapurna Range (Annapurna Himal), Dhaulagiri mountains and the Kaligandaki River valley. Relax in hot springs at Tatopani with the view of Nilgiri(7061m)before ascending to Poon Hill for sunrise over the Annapurnas. Wathcing the sun rise from Poon Hill as it lights up magnificent views of the Himalayas. From there, the trail leads you to Ghandruk, the homeland of the brave Gurkha’s . Trekking to the north of Ghandruk will take you to the Annapurna Sanctury, commonly known as Annapurna Base Camp, where one is surrounded by the vast blue sky and the 360digree views of Mountains including Annapurna I(8091m), Hiunchuli(6444m), Annapurna South(7219m), Annapurna I(8091m), Ganagapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare(6993m).
